Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions govern all sales made by JD Custom Knives, a DBA of Outdoor Gear Dad LLC. By placing an order or paying an invoice, the buyer agrees to the following:

1. Age Requirement

Buyer affirms they are at least 18 years of age at the time of purchase.​

JD Custom Knives does not sell knives to minors under any circumstances.

2. Compliance With Laws

It is the buyer’s responsibility to know and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding the purchase, possession, transportation, and use of knives.

JD Custom Knives (Outdoor Gear Dad LLC) makes no representations regarding the legality of owning or carrying knives in the buyer’s jurisdiction.

Buyer agrees not to purchase or receive any knife that they cannot legally own in their state, city, or country.

 

3. Product Use and Safety

Knives are sharp and inherently dangerous tools. They are not toys.

Buyer assumes all responsibility for the safe handling, storage, use, and maintenance of knives purchased. JD Custom Knives strongly recommends the use of proper safety precautions at all times.

4. Disclaimer of Liability

JD Custom Knives (Outdoor Gear Dad LLC) and its representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or unlawful use resulting from the possession, handling, misuse, or resale of any knife.

By purchasing, buyer releases JD Custom Knives (Outdoor Gear Dad LLC) from all liability related to the product after delivery, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or unlawful activity.

5. Warranty and Quality Guarantee

All knives are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and craftsmanship at the time of shipment.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, modifications, or improper care are not covered under warranty.

JD Custom Knives reserves the right to evaluate warranty claims on a case-by-case basis.

6. Returns and Exchanges

Due to the custom nature of our knives, all sales are final.

Returns or exchanges may only be considered in cases of proven defects in materials or craftsmanship, at the sole discretion of JD Custom Knives (Outdoor Gear Dad LLC).

7. Shipping and Delivery

All products are shipped sharpened and ready for use.

Risk of loss or damage during shipping passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier.

International buyers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import restrictions.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Buyer agrees that any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Texas.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By paying an invoice or placing an order, the buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between JD Custom Knives (a DBA of Outdoor Gear Dad LLC) and the buyer.
